Studying human-robot teaming at NJEx 2011

During the NIFTi Joint Exercises 2011 in Dortmund, early July 2011, we investigated human-robot teaming – particularly, communication between different (human) team members operating a UGV and a UAV. The video shows material from a mission during which the team needed to explore a multi-story “burning” building. The robots are fully tele-operated in this case (though we have the functionality for much more autonomy in perception, and in locomotion).
